There are only 5 steps to take to reduce your chance of stroke by 50%. Why the interest in strokes?  Nothing other than the fact that having a stroke is the leading cause of serious, long-term disability in the United States.

So, why not take these steps! Chances are you are already doing 2 or 3 of the steps, so that means you only have 2 or 3 steps to take to assure yourself that you’re not a candidate for a stroke.

STEP ONE:  Don’t smoke (if you do smoke, acupuncture can help you quit!)

STEP THREE: Eat a healthy diet
