Kings Park University, where I teach Foundations of Chinese Medicine, was undergoing construction on the classroom area in preparation for a site visit related to becoming an accredited university.

When I passed Dr. Park, the President, and his wife in the hallway, at 7:00 p.m. spackling the drywall, I pitched in with a helping hand.

Sometimes, a little help goes a very long way and that’s all it takes to make things better!

And that’s just what Amy needed…a little help with a small problem.  She was itching from hives; that made her cranky; that made her unable to sleep; and the end result was misery.

But, because she was nursing, her OB said there was no help and nothing she could take.

I set her up with an appointment and gave her instructions on natural remedies from the kitchen that would give her the help she needed to at least get a good night’s sleep.

Today I received this text from Amy: “Hi, Dr. Ana. I came in last week with hives after the birth of my baby.  I’m doing much better!  Do you have availability on Thursday for a follow-up appointment?”
