PRODUCTS:
Any food products, including oils, that are used in our cosmetic
blends are guaranteed to be organic, fresh when possible, and cold
pressed when appropriate. While you are undergoing your QiGlow protocol,
or if you want to detox from a minor skin breakout, we suggest that
you begin a week on a Detox Diet.
PLANT PRODUCTS:
Our cosmetic blends, where possible, use only fresh picked plant
products from the Lake Superior regions of the United States. These
include all western herbals used in formulation.
ESSENTIAL
OILS:
Essential oils used in our cosmetic blends come from our medical
clinic and are first infusion, medical grade, pure essential oils.
EASTERN
HERBALS:
Our cosmetic blends use traditional Chinese herbs for their healing
properties. Our herbs are purchased from top U.S. importers, under
FDA regulation for U.S. purity standards.

Dang Gui (Angelica)
is used in herbal teapills, tinctures and salves because it has
the energetic quality of building blood and restoring yin (fluids
of the body). We use it in our blends to bring healing to the skin,
to enhance the quality of the skin, and to nourish the skin.
He Shou Wu
is used in herbal teapills, tinctures and salves because it has
the energetic quality of strengthening and restoring yang (energy
of the body). We use it in our products to bring elasticity, firm
texture and plumpness to the skin.
Yunnan Pai Yao
is used in herbal capsules, tinctures, and salves where healing
by moving the blood is required (lesions, patches, abrasions, pustules,
scars, cuts, rashes etc). We use it in our products to stimulate
growth of new cells while gently removing only the very surface
dead cells that may be ready to slough off on their own. This product
protects the delicate balance between old cells leaving and new
cells arriving. We do not believe in doing anything that scrapes
harshly across the facial or neck skin, abrasively cutting cells
away to expose delicate new cells before they are ready.
Colloidal Clay
is a powerful absorptive substance. It has been used by native people
for centuries as both an internal and external purification aid.
We use it in our mask as an important drawing and binding element
that facilitates the cleansing action.
