Nothing Beats Eating Beets for Energy

Nothing Beats Eating Beets for Energy

Healthy Blood = Great Energy!

Healthy Blood = Great Energy!

According to the centuries old practice in  Chinese medicine of using food to heal,  and according to the very recent article in Scientific American, the energy in beets, alfalfa, barley and tomatoes is blood building.

Healthy blood always means better health.

The symptoms of better health are the abilities that you use every day such as your ability to think, focus and problem solve quickly; your ability to heal from muscle soreness after a power workout, or heal from a cut with very little scarring; better health is having a store of energy that sustains you for a full day of activity, even under great duress.

It’s a very simple equation: Healthy Blood = Better Health.

Some signs that you need to strengthen your blood are symptoms such as fatigue, easy bruising, sore muscles that last forever, a simple cut that doesn’t heal or leaves a fat scar, lack of motivation and focus at work, general malaise and a feeling that you’re just not yourself; low libido and low tolerance for loved ones.

If you would describe your life and attitude as “anemic” (pale, blah, boring, dispassionate), you don’t need to have a blood test to prove it!

Start eating foods that will help bring your energy up and return you to joyful, active living.

In our food therapy programs we recommend specific foods to resolve your symptoms, and our Chinese herbal formulas are concentrated foods that will build blood and acupuncture treatments circulate that blood for better energy.
