O.K. so beer is not a diet drink.

And beer is not on the Heavenly Bodies Clinic Diet Plan because we are a beacon in the dark for you to head for in your quest for health through a perfected diet to maintain your weight and reduce it if you need to;  daily exercise to improve body and brain function; and regular acupuncture treatment to handle all those small problems and prevent them from becoming bigger.

Now before you reach that panacea of health, as far as today goes, we know that our diet program patients do have an occasional beer, so we wanted to know just how bad is it to have a beer?

Answer: it is not all that bad.  And, it can fit into a diet plan.

Beer has a reputation for producing beer bellies while you don’t hear about a Coke Belly or a Pepsi Muffin Top.   A can of Bud and Coors have the same calories, which come from the alcohol and the grain, as a can of Coke or Pepsi, whose calories come from sugar.

If you stick with the lower calorie beers, (starting with Guinness Draught on down the list) you can be o.k. on your diet with drinking one.
